Private St Maarten Island Sightseeing Tour

We had a great time on this tour. Our driver, Domingo, was awesome. We had a five hour private tour with just our family. There was 10 of us total in the van. He met us there at the cruise port after we got off the ship. Domingo pretty much tailored the day to whatever we wanted to do. He drove us around the island, telling us a lot of interesting facts and history and answering all of our questions. We were able to tell him the most important things we wanted to do and he completely accommodated us and let us spend as much time as we needed to at each location. He also knew all of the flight times that planes would be landing at Maho Beach. Would totally recommend this tour. So worth it!

Domingo met us at the port and spent the better part of the day sharing his knowledge about the island and showing us the highlights of both the Dutch and French sides of the island. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. It was a great day.

Excellent guide. Selected activities that our teens and young children thought were awesome - like feeding iguanas! Best ever.

The day was perfect. Our tour was catered to our wishes, and Domingo was wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable about his island and all of its aspects. This was the high point of our trip to St Maarten.

Mr. Domingo gave a historical tour of the island and it was very interesting. He let us make the tour what we needed to be: shopping, eating and playing at the beach! This private tour of St. Maarten is highly recommended!

The sightseeing tour was very well done, informative, and adaptive to our requests. The tour guide was very outgoing, knowledgeable, and willing to tackle any requests we had. We took several tours on our cruise and this on was by far the best that we had and the vehicle was comfortable as compared to the other tours.

Words can't express how amazing and informative our tour of the entire island was. First having a private tour for a family of 8 (kids and adults) was a life saver. We went our own schedule and did what the family wanted which was nice. We wanted to go swimming last at Orient Beach and he made it happen. We got to the boat within plenty of time to do souvenir shopping (which is not great in general).

My friend and I recently booked this private tour of St Maarten. We are of a "gentle age" and we thought it would be fun to be pampered for an afternoon. We were very fortunate to have Domingo as our guide. First, he called me at home after I booked. He wanted to get to know his passengers: our requests for the tour, our beverage choices, etc. That was a nice touch even before we arrived in St Maarten. Domingo was waiting for us at the meeting place after our ship docked. He created an itinerary, based on our requests. Of course, we wanted all the usual tourist places, including Maho Beach, where the planes fly overhead. Domingo even printed out the plane schedule for that day. He thought of everything! A side note to anyone thinking of going there....the beach itself is very small, the area is extremely crowded because everyone wants to do what you are doing. We stayed for two plane arrivals, about 15 minutes, and it was time to move on! Domingo gave us the history of the island, both the Dutch and French sides. It is nice to know that both sides live in harmony. He also talked a lot about Hurricane Irma. Effects of the hurricane are still so evident on the island as we drove around. We visited all the places we originally requested and Domingo took us to additional places, including look-out vistas for great photo opportunities. I cannot compliment Domingo enough for his attention toward us during our tour. He is personable, funny and thoughtful. If you book this tour you will love spending a few hours with him.
