Simpson Bay Resort and Marina , Billy Folly Road, 37, Simpson Bay, Philipsburg, Sint Maarten

We are located on the marina of the Simpson Bay resort, next to La Patrona restaurant.

9:00 AM
This activity will end right where it started.
Either the tour company picks you up at your hotel in St. Maarten (see Important Info for included hotels) or make your way to your boat.

Find a spot in the sun or shade on the decks of the luxurious catamaran, the 'Lambada,' and enjoy the scenery as the boat sails up the western coast of the island to Plum Point, then across the channel to the neighboring island of Anguilla. Get to know your friendly crew and drink a few rum punches open bar on the way to your first stop, Prickly Pear Island.

The boat moors at Prickly Pear, a small uninhabited cay off of Anguilla, so you can enjoy the quiet and solitude among the white sand and palm trees. Slip on some of the provided snorkel equipment and dive in, or simply swim up to the beach to lounge in the bathwater-warm shallows. Snorkelers float among the vibrant coral and groups of darting tropical fish. The crew may instead steer the boat towards the reefs off Prickly Pear Cay, depending on the weather and conditions.

After your visit to Prickly Pear Cay and its surrounding reefs, climb back aboard the boat and dry out in the sun as the captain steers towards Road Bay, a lively stretch of beach on Anguilla proper.

Upon landing on Anguilla, enjoy the provided barbecue buffet at a local restaurant that includes ribs, fish and chicken. Hang out at Road Bay Beach for the afternoon. Relax, stroll the stretch of sand or hit up one of the many beachside bars.

Your adventure in Anguilla ends with a sail back to St. Maarten, and drop-off at select hotels.

It would’ve been memorable if there was an actual trip to Anguilla! My husband and I booked a day trip, we got to the marina and there was no day trip booked for Anguilla. Not a very good experience.

Awesome day on Lambada

Great day trip! Ian and crew were amazing and the boat is comfortable. Just enough shade and 2 bathrooms onboard. The open bar was stocked with beer, sodas, wine and rum. Great day!

Wrong tour explained.

Tried to take a tour of Anguilla and the beach but found out it was a snorkelling trip. The company allowed us to exchange and pay the difference. Thank goodness.

We had this excursion on my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The crew was wonderful. They are professional and made sure safety was an utmost priority and at the same time they made sure guests were having a great time. The snacks at the Lambada was good and filling and the drinks were awesome.Plus lunch at Roys was just what we needed after snorkeling and swimming .Great experience and they didn't disappoint...

Capt. and Crew were simply The Best! Attentive to your every need even if you get seasick. Prickly Pear is the first stop so if you are prone to seasickness take all necessary precautions. PRIOR TO checking in know or secure the name of your vessel. I booked online. While process was easy, no vessel name provided so it was confusing at check-in because two vessels were headed to Anguilla that day. Lunch was totally not what we expected. You had a choice of chicken, vegan, ribs or fish. You are given cole slaw, a green salad, potatoes and rice along with your meat/vegan selection all served by the crew. The ride back the sails went up and we participated in dancing with the crew. Open Bar but people on this trip were mindful of the quantity they were drinking so everyone had a grand time. 2 bathrooms on board. Highly recommend this trip on the Lombada.

We really enjoyed the sailing trip! You were able to sit, stand, etc., on various part of the boat throughout the trip to see the sites, enjoy the sun, or just feel the wind, and that was nice. Additionally, the crew was very safety-conscious and helpful in getting everyone set up for snorkeling. The short stay on Anguilla was relaxing, and you were able to swim, sunbathe, etc... The only thing that could have been improved was the lunch. It was not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination, but it was edible. Just know that this is an all day trip, and that there may be waves that day 3 1/2 feet our day we were told that they cancel when they get over 6 feet. So, if you get seasick, I'd take something. Otherwise, it's a trip worth taking!

Amazing trip! The captain and crew were great and super attentive. They made sure all guests on board were well taken care of- always asking if anyone wanted a drink or water. The water was a bit choppy the day I went. but clear and blue so snorkeling was a lot of fun. I went w/ my mom and the guys were patient w/ her as this was her first time snorkeling. I would definitely do this again next year. Thumbs up to the team for excellent customer service!

This tour was great. The crew on the boat was friendly, energetic, and attentive. The snorkeling location was great and the beach on Anguilla was amazing. The food was tasty and plentiful. I was also really appreciative of our Captain, who cut off the person there's always one, right? on our tour who got hammered on the free rum punch. Even the ride back to St. Maarten was great, as the engines were cut off and we truly sailed for a couple of hours. Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great day trip.

I loved this trip! We were picked up by a shuttle that was prearranged by the tour company which brought us to the marina on Simpson Bay. We sailed on the Lambada. The captain and his crew could not have been more helpful, friendly, and fun! The open bar included beer, wine, and their rum punch which they served to us on the boat and in the water! Snorkeling at Prickly Pear was our first stop. The water was crystal clear and we saw so many colorful fish around the coral reef! We had a great meal on this island after snorkeling. You choose your entrée at the beginning of the trip. Drinks are available to purchase on this part of the trip. Our last stop was just to play in the water at a beautiful beach in Anguilla. Although it sounds like a booze cruise, it was very well organized and professional. Lots of people, young and old, not drinking alcohol and everyone mixed well! Such a fun trip!

The Captain and Crew of the Lambada were fantastic, they seem to really love what they were doing and really enjoyed the people. The service was great always asking if we needed anything and the music was fun. We opted to swim to the prickley pear cay vs snorkeling so I can't comment about the snorkeling but the beach was great. The stop at Anguilla was beautiful and the food was great that we had for lunch. The Captain really talked to everyone let people take pictures with him and had great history. We loved it.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on this trip! The catamaran and the crew were amazing. They made sure everyone had a good time. We had the perfect day for it which helped as well. There are unlimited drinks on board and the crew will bring them to you. The amount of time on the water is perfect! Able to snorkel for an hour and a half, as well as able to jump off the boat into the water. After snorkeling you went to an island on Anguilla where lunch was included and was better than I expected with good portions as well. After lunch you were able to hang out on the beach for about an hour prior to your trip back. We are both glad we did this excursion!

Highlight of our two weeks spent in Sint Maarten. Family of 4, children aged 15 and 13. Professional and safety conscious, this crew was fun, outgoing, multilingual and hardworking. The Lambada was a very large catamaran that had lots of room for our 55 guests, plus 4 crew. We travelled under sail and motor on the outbound trip and mostly sailed on our return by an experienced captain. First stop, Prickly Pear for snorkeling off the boat, the water was crystal clear and lots of colourful fish to see. Second stop, Road Bay Anguilla for a delicious lunch that was well organized and eaten on picnic tables with our toes is the sand with protection overhead from the sun. The beach was BEAUTIFUL. An open bar all day, wonderful music, great guests and fantastic crew this is a 5 star day trip. Wear your swim suit, pack sun screen and bring your sense of adventure.
